Jacquard fabric is a type of fabric woven on a Jacquard loom, a machine loom invented by the French textile artisan Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1804. Fabrics woven with this type of loom feature complex patterns woven directly into the fabric. As a result, any fabric with woven patterns bears resemblance to jacquard
